Winemaker notes from Allison Tauziet:
"The 2008 vintage Tychson Hill Vineyard Cabernet is elegant and feminine in nature. The nose reveals flavors of purple fruits, black cherries, honeysuckle and cardamom. While exhibiting this beautiful perfume, the wine also has many darker, more brooding notes of barbecue smoke, chocolate malt and charcoal. The texture is immediately silky on the palate, with a pleasing roundness and delicious length to the tannin. The elegance of this wine will persist as it ages, so I recommend a minimum of 3 years of cellar time before opening. The wine should age gracefully for 20 years or more."
We released 150 cases of the 2008 "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon in March 2012.
