Danielle Aita was born and raised in California. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in literature, she worked in restaurants and fell in love with hospitality. In San Francisco, she developed a passion for wine and was able to work alongside her mentor as a sommelier. Her new career as sommelier took her to New York City, where she became a member of the opening sommelier team at The NoMad. Danielle met the team at Colgin while working for Chef Thomas Keller at Bouchon Bistro in Yountville. In 2016, after 13 years in the food and beverage industry, she joined Colgin as a Hospitality Associate, hosting guests from all over the world. She is thrilled to be able to enhance their love and appreciation of Colgin wines. When not working, Danielle is an avid reader who also loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
