2014 "Cariad"

Tasting Notes from Winemaker Allison Tauziet:

The balance of subtlety and exoticism of the 2014 “Cariad” are captivating. Melted black licorice, ripe blueberry, and plum are unbelievably seductive in the glass. Notes of hibiscus and citrus blossom add freshness and lift to this delectable wine. Accentuated by faint notes of fennel seed, shiitake, and cedar, the 2014 vintage of “Cariad” envelops your senses. Flirtatious and lingering aromas continue onto the palate, where a bright acidity leads into a suavely textured mouthfeel.

The 2014 “Cariad” is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot.
