Tasting Notes from Winemaker Allison Tauziet:
The 2015 “Tychson Hill” is a mesmerizing wine, balancing intensely fragrant ripe fruits with nuanced soft floral notes. The 2015 season accentuates the subtleties into one magnificent bouquet, showing a more deeply concentrated side of Tychson Hill. Black cherry chocolate truffle and macerated blackberries jump out of the glass, followed by pure notes of fresh roses, honeysuckle, and fennel bulb. Layers of finessed tannin softly coat the palate. The suppleness disguises the structure beneath, finishing with a lingering flowery perfume.
