Colgin Cellars participates in numerous charity events around the United States each year. We feel that it is important to give to causes meaningful to us and we are happy to support carefully selected charities involving healthcare, community services and the arts. Our donations including large format bottles and rare vertical selections have generated more than five million dollars to date!
An accomplished auctioneer, Ann Colgin also donates her time on the podium to a few charity wine auctions. We are providing here a listing of events that we are supporting in the upcoming months. Colgin Cellars produces two extraordinary wines from the IX Estate Vineyard. These two bottlings, the IX Estate Napa Valley Red Wine and the IX Estate Syrah capture the distinct terrior of this steep hillside vineyard and reflect the passion and uncompromising pursuit of excellence of Colgin Cellars handcrafted wines. The winning bidder will enjoy an extensive tour of this private, state-of-the-art winery that features classical design coupled with contemporary technology. You will receive two bottles of each of the IX Estate wines beginning with the inaugural 2002 vintage to the not yet released 2005 vintage.
As this sensational 16 bottle collection rests in your cellar you will be inspired by the piece that Classical realist painter Suzanne Hughes Sullivan has created especially for this year's High Museum Wine Auction. The artist traveled to the estate to absorb the atmosphere and found the setting awe and art inspiring. The painting features a bottle of 2004 IX Estate Napa Valley Red Wine, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Colgin vineyards and Lake Hennessey. The viewer can picture themselves seated at the dining table about to partake of that first sip from the poured glass... how sweet it is!

This phenomenal, never before released horizontal from Colgin Cellars includes one Magnum and three 750 ml bottles of every wine produced by Colgin in the highly acclaimed 2004 vintage. This 24 bottle collection includes the Herb Lamb Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Tychson Hill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Cariad Red Wine, IX Estate Red Wine, IX Estate Syrah and the extremely limited production Jubilation Merlot - made only from select lots and not in every vintage. As a result of its miniscule production - only 89 cases in 2004 - Jubilation is not publicly released nor sold to Colgin's mailing list.
The symbolism of this 24 bottle collection? Why, one bottle for each episode of Fox's hit series "24" that you will watch this season. Why will you be watching so intently? Well, if watching Jack Bauer save the nation from imminent doom is not reward enough, you will also be watching your very own screen debut, as the winner of this lot will be invited to step into the world of a true Hollywood hero with a walk-on role in the series. Visit CTU, go "dark," stare down Chloe - be a part television history.
