A Reflection of Land, Craft, and Time

Each bottle of Colgin Cellars reflects the dedication, craftsmanship, and unique qualities of our sites. From the first harvest to the final bottling, every step carefully reflects our commitment to excellence.

At Colgin Cellars, we believe that great wines are the result of exceptional vineyards and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. Our wines are born from our three unique sites, each one carefully nurtured to produce the finest expression of its land. We produce wines of depth, balance, and elegance—each vintage is a study in the complexity that arises from our small-scale, hands-on approach. Every bottle tells the story of the land from which it came and the dedication of those who crafted it.

“Herb Lamb”

Colgin’s First Wine

From 1992 to 2007, Colgin Cellars was fortunate to produce a wine from the hallowed Herb Lamb vineyard, a north facing site surrounded by a conifer forest on the lower slopes of Howell Mountain. For sixteen vintages, Colgin Cellars diligently selected fruit from the upper rows of this site to vinify for the “Herb Lamb” bottling. The wine from the Herb Lamb vineyard is consistently about charm and perfume, with notes of blue fruits and mint.

Jubilation

A new wine experience from Colgin Cellars

As our vine age has matured and small additions have been made to our original holdings, we had the privilege of increasing our selectivity. Following the blending of our single-vineyard wines, we were fortunate to have a collection of barrels that conveyed the same elegance and complexity for which we are known, yet on a more supple, approachable frame. Jubilation is a wine ready to enjoy now, with the pedigree to age gracefully in the cellar, maintaining the Colgin Cellars’ hallmarks of perfume, freshness, and minerality. The inaugural bottling of Jubilation from the 2016 vintage was released in late 2020. Future vintages are destined for select members of the fine wine trade.
