COLLECTIVE RESOURCES: The fragrance is a joint venture between Napa Valley's Colgin Cellars and Venice-based Strange Invisible Perfumes.
THE CONVERSION: "The last thing we wanted was a perfume that literally smelled like wine," says Alexandra Balahoutis of SIP. "We wanted to showcase some of the ghostly aromas present in the glass."
TO ITS CREDIT: The goal was achieved with notes of roses, French oak, white sage, black currant, wild honey and lavender.
DEPOSITORY: The base is 100 organic grape alcohol.
